Hi everyone!
I plan on making myself a new listening room in the basement hall. There are no Objects in the way and the walls are perfectly even. The floor is rugged out, the left and front wall are covered with 2" sponge. I'm working on two basstraps to put in the rear corners which will go from the floor all the way up to the ceiling. The right and the rear wall, I plan to cover with diffusion walls.
I've got four speakers in the front, two on the left, two on the right. The front wall is covered with diffusion speakers, or basically is a speaker. Stuck to the sponge I've put 21x28 4" mid- to high-range speakers.
Do I really need diffusion walls with these speakers? I mean, the sound is spread perfectly throughout the room like that. Will diffusion walls make a difference?
