Blue wire do not need to connect. See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1ENOdYN6iA. I do not remember which part of movie they show cutting blue wire. I posted question about that and nobody answered me...I installed equipped board and transformers inside metal chassys. Outside chassys are only tubes. Sockets and resistors I soldered on non silkscreened side and all capacitors on opposite side. Power resistors is good to keep far from board, they are hot! I do not know how attach picture because when I try they say is too big. I can not say there are problems in assembly. If you follow instructions, looks easy to assembly.

As I post before, bolts are for protection against accidental touch(cat climbing). Easy, cheap and usefull.

So far I can say it is working great in middle and treble. Bass not too strong. I use a preamplifier and accent bass to be flat response. In small room working OK with speakers over 95 dB. I am waiting for SV83 or 6p15p to compare if sounds better. Next week after new tubes will arrive and after break in can say more. But for price you pay for kit, sound is good, worth the price. Bass not stong as Dynaco st 70 but with preamplifier sounds ok
