Here are some of the amps my friends and I have used for HT.

How about some PA audio amps?

I know the Buttkicker LFE is suppost to play down to 5Hz so maybe the amp will too.

Hope this helps.

That can not be easy I'm afraid.
If you have some skill in electronics or you know someone, maybe you could separate the end stage from the rest.
But honestly, I would be scared to do this too. Unless you get some very skilled hands in there...
A good start is to find the electronic diagram, but even this could be difficult.

Good luck with it and if it works out, I would be interested how you did it.

All I can get from James Loudspeaker tech support is "the amp basically hits a brick wall at 23 Hz"  and it's "over 500 w/p/c into 4 ohms"

I do not know how to take the thing apart, it looks like a rack mount that is riveted together or I would show the insides.

Forgot how to post pictures- Huh  :-[
Ray

sell em and get new amps.

Snoop aound on EBay for a BGW 750C. You can get one for less than $100. It has a HUGE power supply and
has enough drive capacity for a HouseWrecker loaded with four JBL 2245H (18") drivers.

It works very well in my setup.

Hi asiquis,

I don't think this board is the best place to ask about amplifier problems.
You might want to try http://www.diyaudio.com/ and join the forum to ask this.
