Orion HCCA in a Deathbox

Has anyone tried putting an Orion HCCA 12 in a deathbox yet?  I have 2 laying around and was getting ready to try it.  When these were in a ported box they busted out 150.1 db at an spl drag in San Diego.

i haven't used that particular driver, but if it's not free-air, it will work. i'm not sure if you'll hit the same spl with iso loading. actually if the iso group gets the same power you'll hit 3db lower compared to a single driver getting the same power.
i think that if spl is you goal you should try either 2 DB12s or one wicked one with taller panels and angled baffles.

I am not looking for spl. Just loud enough to hear over my 38"" super swampers bouncing down the road.  I have an Orion 1200d mono block to pump the woofer.  I am only going to use 1 woofer.  does it matter which side of the baffle I put the woofer?
