Im going to build two 12in Dbs but there soo many sub woofer drivers out there on the market today, and soo many look good.  I here from soo many people that these ones are great, and so are those, but i was just seeing what you guys think are the best or rather what specs to look for in a great driver.

How about MTX? Specifically This One

I'm building a lower wattage system based on Steve's wiring schematic, and using a 10" DB for the bass. My bridged sub channel will be running about 160w RMS, and MTX recommends 112-225RMS for this sub, and it has a reported sensitivity rating ~92db On the MTX spec sheet.

Thanks in advance!

i wouldn't worry too much about power handling and recommended amp power. you can power it with 20w (as long as you're not clipping the amp) if it's loud enough for you. for that much money, i'd go for an infinity ref1040because it costs only 4$ more than the mtx and my guess is that it sounds better.

Thanks! That would be my first choice in the price range, and I guess I just overlooked it. ???
