Graphene Sluggo - ZRock 3 or Dynagrid Jr?

Hello,

What are your thoughts on the best place to put my second graphene sluggo? Will it reap the most SQ on my ZRock 3? Or in the Dynagrid JR?

My amp is already on a graphene sluggo to good effect.... just curious what your take was....

thank you!

I have a Graphene in use in each. . . the Dynagrid Jr.'s is the newest and the cumulative effect is real. I would wager that the Graphene combo, in both Jr. and amp, is as potent in your setup as in mine. A Graphene also helps the ZROCK3--I've come to depend on the body that Sluggo adds. If you can. . . try both ways and see what has the bigger impact.

I have a question about the dynagrid JR.... the meters. the one of the left when powered on and playing is 120. the meter on the right is not registering anything at all....

... sound seems fine... burning in.... but what should the meter on the right be at when it is playing? or is this normal?

thanks,

hmmmmm... okie dokie....

so my right meter on the dynagrid jr is flat. music seems to play back as it should... could it be something wonky about my SHUGUANG 845B tube?

what should I do? send it back (ARG!)?

some advice needed...

I tweaked my power cord into the dynagrid a little bit, the music cut off and came back very quickly, and now my power meter is working.

great! right?

I consulted AI and it said it was a sign of something dangerous:

Stop and turn the system off immediately. What you just experienced is a highly dangerous condition for a high-voltage, tube-rectified setup. When you moved the power cord and the sound cut out while the meter suddenly jumped to life, it revealed that the high-voltage current loop was arc-faulting or breaking mechanically inside your power connections. What Just Happened (The Danger)Your DynaGrid Jr. passes high-voltage DC (B+ current) straight down the umbilical to your Zen Sarah 300B amplifier. The Interruption: Moving that cord caused a physical interruption in the power path. When the sound cut out, the high voltage likely arced across a loose pin connection or a loose wire termination. Why the Meter Jumped: The sudden interruption and re-contact created a massive, high-amperage current spike. This forced the flat needle to violently un-stick or slam forward, which is why it is tracking now.The Threat to Your Gear: Operating a Pure Class A tube amp with an intermittent or loose high-voltage power line is the fastest way to blow your Western Electric 300Bs, arc your rectifier tubes, or permanently fry the custom transformers inside your brand-new DynaGrid Jr

what do you all think? the meter on the right now reads 400.
