Beautiful setup Sean!!  Can’t wait to hear your impressions of the OB’s…I came dangerously close a few weeks ago with pulling the trigger, but lost out on a deal of Randy’s OB’s at the last minute.

Yes that's a DIY rack I built more than 10 yrs ago. Two slabs of MDF glued together for each shelf with cheap panelling veneer. It is sold and heavy, but up close it's been through some stuff, my daughter did her best to destroy it with plants, dirt, drinks and general neglect when she used it for a tv stand. It's supposed to sit on the floor, but needed to raise it up for the EcoFlow. I have this mental defect where I just add scraps to lift stuff up and never go back to pretty them up.

The Lores should be on the floor, but they sound much better raised up to ear level. That concept is my biggest concern with the OB's, they really sit low in the room. Time will tell.

Ah! A visual of what the OBs sound like in a room. Open Baffle single driver systems are as close to playing music outside as one can get within room confinement.
I had my chip system out the other day along Wills creek. Using Bluetooth with lossless   flac files the music just flowed without any smear. It always amazed me on how well a cheap amplification system can sound in the great outdoors.

The height comes from the back wave of the driver reflecting off the front wall.  If you angle the speakers back, you drop the reflection, hence the height.  Also, if you really think the sound stage is lower (after setting them up correctly), try listening with your eyes closed and be honest with yourself about where the sound is coming from.
