Denafrips - Tek Audio

For quite awhile I've been wanting to upgrade my Ares 15th to a Pontus 15th but that pesky tariff issue kept giving me pause. Reading around the web the results were all over the place, DHL wanting $300 for one guy and random amounts for others.

Tek Audio has a note on their page to be prepared to pay about $80-85, but there have been some instances of nothing collected. OK fine, I bit. Todd is a very good communicator and sent an email explaining the delivery process. A few days later (this past Tuesday) he sent a UPS tracking number with an estimated Thursday (yesterday) delivery date. HA sure, htf is that even possible??? Well, if would have been delivered yesterday if not for a late flight between Anchorage and Lexington. It arrived at the Pittsburgh distribution center about 90 minutes late to make it on the truck. Amazing. It was delivered today, left on the front porch and my neighbor grabbed it til I can get back home. At no time has anyone tried to contact me for a tariff payment. I think this is the first time I've had something picked up by UPS in China.

Anyhow, the experience with Tek has been nothing but positive. If you're in the market for something Denafrips I'd recommend getting in touch with them. I have no affiliation other than being a customer.
