It is quieter in here than a a turntable with the cue lever stuck up.

It is quieter in here than an anechoic chamber inside a black hole.

Doesn't seem quiet to me at all. I see activity.

Quiet, not silent. There is some activity, but less than 3 or 4 years ago. Which is not what I would have predicted given the thousands of new Decware owners in that time.

I think a lot of people do check in still. But, especially certain times of the year, more folks are definitely outside. We are outside people. Sit too much indoors, butt gets sore.... Smiley

I concur… It’s definitely been quiet.  After a recent shoulder procedure to do some clean up from an old injury… I will be home for probably the next two months.  I definitely plan to do a lot of listening and posting more frequently.

I am now in the process of putting together a desktop system for my small office, which I have taken refuge after the procedure. I spent the last week before the surgery rearranging the office, adding a TV and soundbar, a bed, shelving, etc etc.

The desktop system is probably going to contain my pinnacle bookshelf speakers (which are probably too big), my AQ Dragonfly Red DAC, and I think I am going to outsource a small solid state or tube hybrid amp to keep me busy.

Well I looked back through the forums somewhat and it is quieter here than some years ago. IMO far from dead.

There are little surges when products ship and reach new hands and some of these join our discussions. I think that the very structure of bullten board forums has failed to capture new adopters and other forms of social media have grabbed many, though audiophiles seem less inclined to post on Decware's platforms. Maybe that will change one day. I'm not a phone person so don't know how that operates as a phone-based genre--my phone flips and is not connected to the niternet and I don't want one that does--don't work and don't need one for that, don't get out of the house emuch, and I'm geared towards a laptop, not a phone. I sometimes feel like I'm hearing echos here when I post, but many of my posts are just chronicling my listening which I also do on two other (jazz-centric) boards.  I guess I don't need to do that, haven't received an outcry against it, and I do enjoy seeing what others hear and how different that can be.

I'm glad the few, the proud, the stubborn still join in here.
