Does anyone listen to radio anymore?

I know streaming has kind of turned into your own radio station, but I'm talking about something that someone else programs what you listen to.

While I don't listen to over the air broadcasting, I do listen to internet radio stations.

I really don't have a radio that plays over the air, I guess my car does but I've never even checked. It is funny how technology changes everything.

I was big into KPIG from Freedom California for a while but they started getting too political for my tastes so I canceled my subscription.

As of late I'm listening to JB Radio, it plays a big enough swath of various music to keep me interested. It is free, high-res and sounds great. There are no ads, no disc jockeys, no interruptions, just music.

So do you folks listen to the radio, terrestrial or otherwise?

With my Roon subscription, I have access to a whole host of internet radio stations. Some are ad free and some are not.  We normally listen to The Penthouse, Vinyl Rock , 80’s on iHEART Radio, and Cinematix which is based out of Paris.  I have actually been finding myself listening to more of it lately just for the variety.  The global radio stations are interesting to hear what others around the world like to listen to.

My wife and I dial in both AM and FM stations in Kansas City while in the car.  I also use a 30 year old boom box when I’m in the garage working.  Unfortunately, my Pioneer TX-7500 tuner bit the dust a couple of years ago, so we have no radio inside the house.  The Pioneer still works, but the sound is now very distorted.  I wish I knew someone that could get it going again for a reasonable price.
