I changed all of the tweeter diaphragms to the same titanium Crites ones in all of our Klipsch speakers. This was -several- years ago now..
Front- Klipsch ChorusII's
Center- Klipsch Academy
Rears- Klipsch kg2.5.. wall mounted with adjustable omnimount mounts. About 7 feet high and a bit wider than the fronts. Came out very nice.
The sound/tone of the speakers are as close as possible this way in the home theater system.
We use a completely separate amp with the fronts. The zen two channel. A Yamaha RXV2700 for 5.3 system.
Love it all! :D
The Rachael was the amp I thought about changing my order to. Zen worked out beautifully! I am sure the Rachael would have too.
Gorgeous sound and MORE than enough detailed/rich/clean-extremely low to zero hum or noise too. We play the zen at least 5 days a week since it was delivered over 2 years ago now. We have a lot of very well done mixes/ recordings and of course those always stand out a lot. Freaky to hear things you never heard before on so many..
We've collected physical discs since we were kids, so there is a lot in our home... stashed all over the place. We do NOT stream anything and never will. The thought of renting music just irritates the sht outta me... maybe because we are now 60?

All the best!!! Mike
