Sad News for Brent Jesse (Read 47 times)

Posts: 1514	Sad News for Brent Jesse Today at 02:53:37 Fellow audiophiles…I just found out that after 30 years of being in business, Brent Jesse will be closing his doors on March 5th. He is negotiating the sale of his website, so I can only hope that the web pages which hold a wealth of knowledge remains in tact. Sorry to be the bearer of sad news.

FWIW, the webpages are easy to save if you want your own copy. In Chrome go a page, select the "3 dots" and select:

Cast, save and share

Then under Save goto Save page as (the only option) and Save as type: Webpage, Single File (*.mhtml)

Then you'll have a local copy of the page. I actually did that for the Euro Tube Codes a long time ago. You can probably do something similar in other browsers.

This is for a desktop/laptop not sure about a phone or tablet.

I suspect most of his information has been sucked into the AIs, but I'd rather go to the source myself.

In fact, he was probably the source of my first online tube purchase. He definitely has a wealth of info on his site, which I’ve referenced multiple times.

His website has been very informative and a great resource to learn about different tubes and their characteristics. Sad to see him go, for sure, but happy for him to retire and have more time for himself.
