I see that Geno brought up a good question when he asked about past members that haven't been heard of lately.

I'm getting ready to celebrate 15 years around here and have seen a lot of members come and go.

There is a good likelihood that more than several of us have moved on to different systems, hobbies, diversions, and possibly to the afterlife.

Anyway, not to drag us into bad thoughts, I would like everyone to pop in, say hello, maybe get hold of a past member you know and have them drop by to say hi.
Maybe even remember old members and share stories.

Let's bask in the memories and make more for the future.

It would be interesting to hear what Hurdy Gurdy Dave Leonard thinks of all the Decware innovations since he was last here. I always enjoyed reading posts from Terry Gesualdo. Donnie, I recognize all these names. 25 years coming in May for me (see below). Lon and I were on the original forum. I was off the forum for a few years....however, always lurked here and there always learning something from you guys. Stone of Tone/formerly.

I speak with Aribica Jeff via text. He is busy running his Coffee shops and his new Distillery and restaurant. Has his ZMA....but also some cool mono-blocks to run his Pipe Dream Loudspeakers he acquired! Storied history on those I followed over the years.

12 year Anniversary for my ZMA, serial #001. 25th mods done in October of 2018.

Proud owner of 7 Decware products over the years.

PS - My 25th Anniversary is Mid May coming up (2001 - 2026)! SE84CS, spoke with Steve on the phone/ordered the Amp and the rest is History. Made the Pilgrimage too, to Adams Street in 2005 and then 2008 new home and location.

Yep Stone, yesterday was my 15 year anniversary around here.

The time has flown. My system has changed numerous times, my typing skills have improved and I like to think that my ability to convey my thoughts has improved also.

But yes, so many members have come and gone. I can only think of one or two that we were happy to be rid of! Not a bad average at all.

I sure would like to hear from some of the 'Oldtimers" before we all shuffle off into the ether.

I can attest that one visit to the doctor's office can change your outlook about the future.

Thirteen years for me since I lucked out and found this forum, made the pilgrimage, and came away with a Mini Torii, Trapeziums, ICs and speaker cables. Best audio move that I’ve made is going the low power/high efficiency route. Never looked back.

Donnie, I empathize with you about the dr visits. I believe the term “time bomb” was used after a CAT scan last fall. What the hell, we can’t live forever - grab all the tunes you can while you’re here, I guess.

Hey, everybody.

I occasionally drop on here to see what new things Steve is doing. However, after years of going from one SET to another, it was obvious that low-wattage SET tech was not for me. I have a ZROCK, which I think everyone should have, a ZP3, and I still have my blue Torii. The blue Torii is in my office and is on many times during the week. I still think it sounds better than any of the SE84* models I had through the years and that includes an SE84UFO. I have had that Torii for 25 years, or so. When did that amp show up? Bill Evans comes to life through it.

So, I was on this site when I lived in California, and I left there 20 years ago. So, put me down for 25 years or more. I was probably on this site when I was still in Texas, before CA. Make that more than 25 years.

There were a few years at the beginning when the Decware forum was a wild place. The threads were crazy. It was fun.

Lots of people that I used to communicate with are no longer here, except for Lon. Lon was here when I arrived and Lon will be here when all of us are gone. That's Lon.
