Looking to Sell my Entire Decware-Based System...
02/04/26 at 21:49:28

I am 75, in poor health, and will soon be entering into assisted living, or perhaps even a full-service nursing home. Unfortunately, my audio system will not be part of this new life. So I am interested in offering it for sale on Decware classifieds only. I'll do my best to describe it here:

First, two caveats:
1) I'm selling the system in its entirety, no exceptions
2) I am not interested in shipping any of it. Buyer must pick up system

System:
Decware SE84UFO Zen Triode Amplifier
Decware ZCD 200 triode output CD Player
Well Tempered Labs Simplex MK II Turntable with WT TLC Phono Cart.
Graham Slee Era V Gold Phono Preamp with PSU 1 power supply.
Border Patrol USB DAC
1 pr Caintuck / Lii Audio Fast 8 open baffle speakers in solid cherry
Salamander Audio Rack with custom sorbothane top double shelf for TT
Custom mil spec line level program selector switch
Blue Jeans and other high-quality cabling.

I am located in NE PA near Scranton, with access from interstates Rt. 80, and 81. Note: I am not in good enough heath to meet half-way, sorry.

Please see photos for units' cond., which is exc. to mint in all respects.

I am asking $6500.00 for all listed.

Please refer to attached photos. Any question please call (272) 446-0981 or e-mail at: signet02@yahoo.com

Note: Apparent mark on front of CD player is only a reflection.

If I come across anybody in the Syracuse area looking for a serious system upgrade, I will pass it on.

Mark, food for thought, consider taking it with you. Without the LPs, turntable, and phono stage, this system takes up very little space.

The DAC, CD, and amp can fit on top of a bureau, the Betsy Baffles in front. Keep a rack of your favorite CDs, the DAC gets you everything else. Your system sounds great at low volume (I know, I have an SE84UFO, Betsy Baffles, Audio Note CD 1.1x, Sonos Port, Well Tempered Lab Amadeus Mark II, and I listen near-field at low volume).

This is great sound. Take it with you.

The best of luck to you however it plays out!

Thanks, Dan. I just may do that. And yes, this system does sound very good at lower volume levels. Regards, Mark.

Sorry to hear about you health problems.  Getting older is not fun.  I live in NJ and am interested in the system if you decide to sell. I certainly do not want to encourage that if you think you can still use it.  It would be for my son who is a musician.

Andy, if you would like to talk to me about the system, you can e-mail me at signet02@yahoo.com. Also, the system is still set up in its entirety and can be auditioned if you'd like, as it may or may not be what you're looking for.

Regards, Mark

Hello to all who posted here, especially Andy: I have decided to keep the system for the time being, and see if I can talk the management of my future building into allowing me to have it in my space there.

Thank you for your consideration, and best regards, Mark.
