Torii MkIV w/ KT88

I’ve found handful of “yes” in forums but some were for different generations of the Torii. I had been running Tungsol KT66s and loving it. One started flaking out on me. Now I’m using brand new TAD 6L6s. They’re good but mildly harsh which I expect will burn off with time. I have a quad of well broken in Gold Lion KT88s that are staring me in the face. Anyone care to chime in on KT88s in a Torii MkIV being ok and maybe some sound opinions?

I can give you a link to the Mk IV manual, and it says the alternative to the EL34 is the KT66. So my vote would be no on the KT88. I guess if you really want to know for sure you should contact Steve.
