Alan, I have heard several times that the Infinity fuse provides same performance but has the adjustable amp levels for convenience and flexibility. I prefer the size and case of the SDFB but the dip switches are a really nice feature.  If I was to buy again I would get the Infinity.  I do change gear a bit and have had to get one of my SDFB sent in to reprogram which is a bit of a hassle.

AC Tuning X in house and worth the wait. Yet another great product from Vera-fi Audio.  Even right out of the box I heard a nice overall improvement and one less cable is a bonus.  On my system the improvements that I heard were:  Overall sound and tone quality improved, sounded less congested, clarity and air increased, instrument separation enhanced, more 3D and holographic, bass more tight and defined and overall just had a bit more gain. These improvements were not major but definitely noticeable.  When I removed the ACTX and went back to my cable sounded a bit dull, veiled, soft and just not as dynamic or engaging.  Kind of reminds me of the 70-80’s when you pushed the “Loudness” button🤣.  The ACTX is a winner with me.

After sending Mark an email reminding him of the many times he said my LNBH would ship and asking for some sort of confirmation that he had the units in stock or a refund, he said he would have a friend of his ship me one AND a refund. That actually happened, his friend sent me what I assume was a demo unit (it had clearly been used) along with a refund.

It has been installed for about two weeks and I am still not ready to give a more robust review, but it certainly wasn't a revelation in sound quality. I use a PS Audio outlet and TrippLite isolation transformer with several components having separate power units and mostly balanced XLR connections. Which is to say, I have a pretty quiet system already and I think I'm in the realm of diminishing returns.

Based on my system and experience, I would have been pretty bummed paying full price for the LNBH considering the performance to hassle ratio. That said, I appreciate Mark finding me one and offering me a refund and other well respected forum members have had different experiences.

Funny, I had a similar story with Mark, except without him offering to send me one.  I ordered a Snub Station and LNBH in October.  I received the Snub Station in late October, but was told initially the LNBH was roughly one week behind. Since then, I was told numerous times that it was coming, that today was the day, that it was in among the 350 boxes and Jordan was overwhelmed, and most recently that yesterday was it.  I tried to be patient and understanding as it seemed Mark was encountering supply chain issues.

Yesterday, when I asked whether it had shipped, Mark told me that he wasn't really the person to ask but he didn't mind anyway.  (I emailed the other address -- presumably Jordan -- a couple times over the past months with no response).  I pointed out that he had repeatedly told me it was shipping (including yesterday morning when he said it was actually going to ship) and asked whether he really had them in stock as he had said.  

He refused to answer and instead said "there's a limit to what I'm willing to say in the marketplace I have learned the hard way not to trust everybody with every piece of data. I sure hope and pray you can understand why that might be a driver for me."  I actually don't understand.  I am left with the conclusion that he does not actually have them in stock yet, which is disappointing, but would have been understandable if he had not been telling me that they were in his warehouse.

I have been very much looking forward to the LNBH based on everyone's reactions, and have been happy with Vera-Fi's other products.  I was willing to cut Mark slack given the growth of his business and the supply chain issues he seemingly was encountering.  But the latest communications are leading me to very likely cancel my order given that I have been given the run around and clearly untrue information.

Just wanted to see if this jived with what everyone else is experiencing.

For those of you who have the AC Tuning X, did come with both graphene and gold immersion sluggos per the website? Thanks!

Tony, thanks!  Mark told me that a new shipment of graphene sluggos came in and they processing the backlog.

I received my two SSZs and two AC tuning X.  My LBNHs are still prepping for shipping.  Since I am running an active crossover for my Paps, I have the two amps connected to each SSZ, AC Tuning X and SFDBs.  My digital streaming is also connected to the SSZ and SFDBs.  The second AC tuning X is connected with SFDB for my DAC, UFO 25th and Aric pre (using an adapter purchased at Lowe’s.  I have also connected my Pulse and my LHY10 to the SSZ.  I also connected my two STR1002s to one SSZ.  Right off the bat, I can tell there is a drop in background noise (more black) and I can hear instruments I have not heard before on music that I am very familiar with.  
BTW, in corresponding with Mark, if you are using SFDBs, do not connect them to a power conditioner that have virtual ground (I think all of them are).  The power conditioner outlets are now sparingly used.  More seasoning and happy listening for me.  Thanks to all who have contributed to this thread (especially Lon)!

Sorry to hear that Alan. If it makes you feel any better, I don't hear all that much of a difference with the LNBH installed (in front of a Pine Tree Audio power conditioner).

The way Mark handled my LNBH order and ultimately refund was a major turnoff for me. I’ll never do business with them again. That company is dead to me.

That's terrible the experiences that you both have had. I had no such issues, I waited a week or two for one of the items, that was the longest. But my orders were before tariffs and certain supply chains became implemented and experienced that I know has impacted many audio businesses.

Really unfortunate what a rough ride Vera-fi and their customers have had to go through the last several months.  They have made things worse for themselves and need to stop making hollow promises.  Just tell us they do not know when the products will be in stock and ship. They  should only accept orders when the product is in stock and notify customers interested when products are in stock ready for shipment.  I really like and own many of their product offerings.  Their products are very innovative and perform way above the price point.  I have had only a few  minor issues with my orders unlike others here but I will not order anything from them again unless it is confirmed in stock and ready to ship.  🤞

I wanted to add to the pool of information re: Vera-Fi by noting that my experience aligns well with Lon's. Like many, I got caught in a long delay before the final delivery. Once everything arrived, however, all functioned as expected and have contributed positively to SQ. It's a shame that Vera-Fi has lost so much of its reputation and goodwill amongst the group. Hopefully, they can recover over the remainder of this year.

Sorry this ended up as the result, and that you never got the LNBH--I really love mine and I guess I am more fortunate than I thought.

Haven't watched the video--I don't want youtube, a habit that I just never developed, not fun for me.

I just watched the video and I have to say that I was disheartened by what was revealed. When the SDFB were originally introduced… I had placed an order for two units for each of my Zen SE84C+ mono amps.  They did arrive on time as expected and I did notice a nice increase in SQ with blacker backgrounds.  I did have two conversations with Mark and both were positive.   With that being said, I never had any ambition to pursue his newer offerings… and now I am glad that I refrained from doing so.

It's unfortunate. I am VERY happy with the SDFBs and the LNBHs and the Snubstation Zeros I have and am glad I have them and had no waiting time. I've encountered these sort of issues with other small outfits. . . I personally think the tariffs and world situations are a big factor. Lying about reality is not good--I think in some ways not as intentional as others, Sad all around.

I'm glad my system is now EXACTLY what it is and I am settling into listening with passion.

Even if a company treats its customers exceptionally well, these days plain lies and disinformation can impact a company's bottom, middle and top lines. I remember on other forums persons (even some who posted here) were dissing Decware, some claiming that the policy of deposits and then growing long wait times for products were some sort of scam to keep customer money and make big coin somehow with it. And that they were not being forthright about some of their products. I personally got in the weeds trynig to defend  Decware, and as a result was sometimes labeled "a shill" for the company, or an employee trying to promote lies and disinformation.

We're in an age where truth is often devalued and deception is defended. Hard to see and digest clarity.

I don't think anything has been sorted out -- if anything, it seems to be going down the tubes.

From other forums and reddit, and the Vera-Fi website, a lot of people are still waiting for products.  It doesn't seem like anything has shipped in many months and the messages from Mark seem to have stopped.  The LNBH isn't even on the website anymore, and some other products are missing as well.  When you try to order something, the site says they can't accept payments.

Feels like he has gone under.

I've heard from Mark. It's true, about six weeks ago. He is recovering. I know many wish him well.

This summer with attention to isolation components I'm enjoying the LNBHs and Snub Station Zeros I'm using more and more.

Thanks, Lon, for the update on Mark's condition. I had heard that he might be struggling with some health issues, but it wasn't confirmed. I just sent Mark a message wishing him a full recovery.

I don't know about this Mark guy not being a crook. He was convicted of things that seem very similar to what is going on right now.

AV123 Collapse: His previous major venture, AV123, went bankrupt and collapsed under the weight of these scams, leaving hundreds of customers out of pocket for audio gear they had pre-ordered but never received.
