Anyone paired SE84UFO With Klipsch RP-8000F II?

Have a local pair of Klipsch RP-8000F II going for really cheap right now, but I would be buying without a synergy test as I am on the SE84UFO wait list.

Anyone have experience, even with another amp, with this speaker?

In a small to medium room you should enjoy that pairing unless you are part of the anti Klipsch crowd. If nothing else a good starting point.

I used the first gen 8000f for quite a while with a basic Zen and it was good for me except for a slight bass boom issue but most that heard that system loved the big bass presentation.

What Kahuna Jack said!  [smiley=icqlite20.png]
Should sound very good! Yes, we are Klipsch fans since we were young.  (Heritage)
Move the speakers around just a bit to find THAT spot. All the best and have fun. We sure do!  ;)

Right on!  Our HeresyII's are in their original boxes stored in the shop. Man I WISH we could fit them in somewhere in the house. Tried to figure a way for rears in the theater system, but just too big for rear surrounds...
Have fun Randall!  By the way, the 1951 Tung-Sol  (dark brown base- Zenith labeled) mouse ears 6sn7gt is turning out to be -among- my favorite input tubes. And..its pretty too! I rotate 4 different input tubes these days... This Zenith one will stay in for a while.. next up will be the reflektor 6n23p    All the best~ Mike

Sounds great Mike be great to give the II’s some play time! Maybe swap out and put the other pair in the box for a quarter? Randall

I'd have to load the heavy chorus' back into their boxes and carry up our gravel drive to the shop , so their going to stay put.  ;)  I wish we had the funds for a separate, dedicated music room, but that will never happen. Sure would make for much easier setup etc. and be so much simpler to get sound closer to what we look for...
A shared living room is what we have, so it's (was) a challenge to not make the room look like a sound studio, but  sound as good as possible. The bass was always the biggest problem to at least get to sound good...but that will never be in every seating position in here. We are happy that it does sound pretty good considering. Sharing a 5.1 system set up with the same main speakers for the 2 channel was a pisser..... so, we use 2 easily movable cushy chairs while listening to the Decware side of things. The main 5.1 setup is completely turned off for this. Works out as good as we can in here.. and the Zen 2 channel side sounds absolutely wonderful.. leaving things alone now.. Take care Randall  [smiley=beer.gif]
