Spikes / Cones under the Caintuck baffles
05/15/24 at 04:10:35

I know Randy doesn't recommend nor discourage the use of spikes/cones under the bases of his baffles, but has any tried placing spikes/cones?  I have some spikes that are leftover from another project and wanted to use them in my Caintuck baffles.... Cheesy

Would be grateful to hear anyone's experience with them....

I use spikes on the front of my baffles on thick carpet to tilt them back. Maybe it’s the thick carpet but I don’t notice a difference in setting directly on the carpet vs spikes. The sq improvement gained from getting the tilt correct outweighs anything lost from the spike, IMO.
