What is this? (Read 3588 times)

jec3504 Ex Member	What is this? 02/27/23 at 00:37:52 All the slotted screws have some in the slots. Just curious, others have noticed. One person thought the MK5 was leaking.

Reply #1 - 02/27/23 at 03:58:56 Sometimes when I build a product, I use a dab of glue or paint to know if someone has opened the product up. Many manufacturers do this primarily for the same reason. In your case, it looks like the hard glue may be assuring that the nut is keep in place.

With it on all the slots of the screws I was thinking the same. When I heard someone say the Mk5 was leaking replied looks like it time to change the oil. Funny, remembering sending kids to pick up some muffler bearings.
