ZFM15 Back Tilt

It's difficult to tell from the pix on this site and on the Caintuck site but since these speakers are not on stands would they benefit from a slight back tilt - say ~5 degrees from perpendicular?

As I recall, Steve quoted a 7 degree tilt for his baffles.

Thanks.  Do you recall how Steve implemented that?  It is not shown anywhere on the downloaded plans.

Here is the link to the development of the speakers and a picture that might be helpful.

Thank you for this.  The link was immensely helpful.  A couple of things come to mind immediately:

- my inclination (as noted in one post in the thread) would be to angle the face of the plinth/base that the baffle attaches to with a mild angle (say approx 7 degrees) and then adjust with supports from there.

- with the baffle tilted back, it would seem that the feet/supports on the front become redundant.

On another front, if the intention is that the baffle is attached to the plinth/base permanently, why not use dowels and glue?  If it is to be removable when needed, machine screws and threaded inserts in the base might be a better long term solution (just don''t glue the button covers in place  ;)
