Could have been sold at the listed price for a myriad of reasons. Just happy the buyer/seller were able to help each other out.

I don't think it's a reflection of where the used market for Decware gear is heading. Prices are all over the place. Smiley

Congratulations Tony!! Looking forward to hearing your impressions on the new amp and also in comparison to your TORII MKIV. I love both of my amps, but lately I’ve been using my Zen amp for daily/critical listening, and my TORII for scenarios where I need the extra umph for like parties, movies, and when my daughter wants to play games where I can really crank it up.

Are you familiar with the bid-ask spread when trading illiquid securities? I think that is what we are looking at here. There are lots of reasons why a seller may ask for less than the absolute max the market will bear.

@CAJames Yeah, I'm familiar with bid-ask spreads. We're not talking about soy futures here though. Just imagine what their prices would be if Decware went public. Never happen I know, but yikes.

I was just curious since I'm on the list for a 25th, and it would be painful to see a barely used 25th going for less than what I paid while waiting for almost two years.

In the meantime I purchased a pair of Atma Sphere Class D (GaNFET) mono blocks. What can I say, I love boutique manufacturers. They should be arriving in a week or two. I can't wait to compare the two in my rig.

Please report back with your comparisons. A seller might need the cash quickly so will sell it or less. Other times sellers like to give someone else a deal on used equipment.
