Everyone please list your equipment

All,

It would be nice if everyone would list their equipment.

When someone makes a statement about a change for the better with the sound of their system, be it from rolling tubes, change of a component, change of cable, etc., the first thing I do is look at their equipment lineup to see what factors are present to acheive that outcome.

I know that some folks might look at a listing of equipment as bragging about what they have, but it really helps complete the picture when one might want to try and duplicate anothers results. It really helps to know what all factors are.

Just a suggestion.

On that note, I wish someone would confirm how these listings work if it's part of your profile signature ?
What I've noticed is no matter how old the post is, your current signature is always displayed.

So  a post from three years ago will display products in the signature that did not exist then.

Kinda confusing if you come across a post from 2012 that shows the member owned a ZRock2, for instance.  (That would be Lon - All Hailed)

That systems field is static--you make a change and that change remains until you make another change. So if you update the field it erases what was before, and old posts will no longer show the contents in that field that might have been there when the post was created.

Should I list my Lepai amp that is in the laundry room with my home made tiny radials?
I also have may garage stereo, but it is solid state.

I'll just stick with what I have listed and not really comment on how stuff sounds.

Bose. That’s all I can list until I get the security installed.

DD,

This brings up another point, as far as listing your equipment.

You list 'Kleenline Power' in yours. So, I had to do some looking to see what that is.

And a while back, i noticed something in Brads lineup that I had to do research on too.

For me, the listing can be another learning source.

Best,

Geno

Hey, Geno,
Sorry, I was making a joke, before. I have an old receiver apart and spread from Hell to breakfast on my bench right now.

But you are right. I can't tell you how many times I looked up something I was not familiar seeing that was listed in someone's gear.

I just did that search thing on my listing too, with troubling results at first.
No, I don't use a converyor belt product handling system for my music.

This is nothing more than an old isolation/conditioner like you see on the bottom of mobile equipment carts in a hospital.
I use it to help with what ever "power soup" comes out of a wall plug.

When I was still in sound reinforcement there were many power conditioner items available, but they were mostly made for one or two stage rigs. 400 watts or so. You could get 2KW rack mount versions as well, but I needed 30KW and more.
I found solutions at hospital supply companies, bought several, but I kept a small 3KW version for myself when I sold off my systems and got out of the business.

That's all this thing is. It still works great!
There are much more modern, smaller, better components available these days.
The fact that my Kleenline is about the size of a large subwoofer and weighs 65Lbs only bugs me if I have to move it. So I rarely do.
