This hat converts the pi into a very good streamer/server for the price. In my system, I preferred this over a Bluesound node 2i. And I could not distinguish a difference in music between this and a much more expensive Schiit DAC (Gungnir). (The only reason for selling this dac-hat is because my new MHDT Orchid did make a significant improvement.)

There is lots of information on the web for Raspberry pi's and setting them up as a streamer, but feel free to contact me with questions. I'm using Volumio, and when I used it with this hat, it also allowed me to do volume control. Also, using a better power supply to the pi/hat does make a difference.
