Steve, Taboo - Lucid drive section?

I read that the "Lucid" sound stage expander of the Taboo amp is more noticeable with head phones than with loud speakers because the effect increases into a higher impedance.
Can this lucid circuit be built into the drive stage of an amplifier so it plays into the high impedance of the output stage?

Or else could it be installed on the output of a preamp?

Lucid mode is not a circuit added to an amplifier, it IS the amplifier, hence the name "Taboo".  It involves an output stage with a virtual ground and positive feedback to the input stage.  The only way it can be duplicated is to build an identical amplifier, which isn't going to help you much. : )

Also, with the Taboo MK4 the feature is adjustable from zero to max so it works on any impedance.
