Solid State???
09/02/21 at 02:08:12
I wanted an example of Japanese hifi from the 60s. Ive always been a fan of the Sansui black face models, and ran across a good deal on one fully restored. It is a 1969 AU-222, solid state, 18wpc. I chose it because it is a smaller size, and easier to fit on my rack. Only 11 1/2 long.
It aint that sweet tube sound, but it sounds really good😉

Thats a beaut, Geno. Very cool! I still have my old 1975 Marantz 2275, packed away in storage.

Thanks Brad. Yep, I love the 70s Marantz models too. Classic stuff!
