Up for sale here is perhaps the last Decware CD player ever made. Serial#115 was commissioned by me in March 2018, shortly after Decware stopped producing modified CD-players and switched to the stand alone Z-Bit Output Transformer.
The stock Tascam CD-240 is a professional level CD/Network/Ipod player with a host of digital inputs and featuring rare, (for a CD player) XLR outputs. Decware uses these XLR outputs to power an internal "Z-Bit" transformer connected to an additional set of RCA outputs on the rear of the uni. There is also a stepped attenuator that controls how much voltage is fed through the RCA's.
Apart from the decware modifications a HUGE plus for the CD-240 is the ipod integration through the front USB connection. The ipod can be controlled by the CD player but the ipod can also control the CD player and push spotify directly through USB to the internal DAC. There is also a robust TEAC app for the network player.
A change of living space forces a reluctant sale. Located in Salt Lake City, Utah and can deliver locally. Includes the original box, owners manual, and Decware modified remote control. Priced at $600 for a quick sale, (+shipping and any payment fees).
I have perfect Ebay and USaudiomart feedback and my order for this CD player can be confirmed by Decware. I will post images as soon as my account qualifies.
Thanks for looking.
