New to DecWare and Audio Gear

Very interested in tube amps, particularly the Super Zen Triode SE84UFO25. Trying to understand how to connect the sources and the speakers. From what I have been able to see in the product description I only see 2 jacks , located near the front adjacent to the Bias switch. I presume that’s where the speakers are plugged in.

The sources would then require either a pre-amp or the Model ZSB Switchbox. Am I correct or are there inputs on the SE84UFO25?

Wondering if the SE84UFO25 will be lacking in power. Seems like a more powerful Amp will not have to work as hard to deliver sound regardless of listening levels.

If I were to consider a more powerful Amp like the Pass Labs XA-25 paired with with a Zen Triode Pre-Amp CSP325 will the resulting sound take on the characteristics of the Zen Triode?

Hey Ern, Welcome to Decware.
If you listen in a room that's approx 10' x 15' + or - and like levels around 75db to 90db you should be fine with the Heresy's or any other speaker with efficiency of 94db or higher. I believe Heresy's are around 99db so they will play loud. My room is 11' x 16' and I don't turn my UFO25 up past 12 o'clock...less with streaming and CD player. I once had a SE84CKC in my living room (15' x 25') driving 96db bookshelf speakers with no problem with loudness. I like listening in the low to high 80db level.
The front IC's are the inputs for your sources. I believe there may be an owners manual that you can refer to on the UFO25 amp page.
Good luck with your set up. I've had my UFO25 #22 for 2-1/2 years now and am completely happy. No more searching for something new & better.

Ern, the one input connection is on the front of the amp. Speaker connections are on the rear of the amp. Check out the picture of the rear view of the amp in the amp description. My speakers are rated at 97 db and my room is about 12 X 18 with high ceilings (from 11 to 22 feet high). Even with music with large dynamic swings, I never feel the need to go past 12 noon on my volume control. This is with a 2V source.

Could you explain this? Are you referring to situations where the input voltage doesn't match the amp specs?
