Low voltage at D test points Zkit 1
12/17/20 at 05:49:47

I am looking for suggestion to remedy low voltage at the "D" test point. The other points are within specifications. The voltage at "D" is 0.04Vwith the 6N1P tube and 0.10V with the Gold Lion 6922. I cleaned up some of the soldering and retested. No improvement. Any suggestions on where to test to narrow the problem? Faulty socket, bad cap or resistor, transformer, etc.? Thanks again.

I rechecked the solder and cleaned up a few suspects. The voltages at pin 1 of the input socket is 108 V and pin 6 is 115 V. At pins 8 and 3 it is 3 V, and 2 and 7 zero V. I'm not sure of the appropriate value expected for this build. Suggested values on line are for plate voltages of around 100 for better response.
