Hello, I am new to the forum. My name is Joan Carles, I am from Valencia (Europe) and I need your help.
My room is 20 square meters and I like country, jazz, classic and Queen, Supertramp, etc...
I have a budget of 2500 $ and had thought to buy the SE84UFO2.
1800 $ with mod. and customs expenses.
The question is:
1.- I guess they will ship to Europe.
2.- Do the two output valves for this amplifier have to be paired? Matched?
Thank you very much and sorry for my English. It is a translation of googletraductor Smiley

Are you a "he" or a "she?" Just curious.

The output tubes will be carefully matched at the factory but if you acquire others they don't necessarily have to be matched.

They ship to Europe; no problem. You will want the 240 volt version.

What kind of speakers are you using? Chances are if they are not high efficiency while the amp will make them sound better than what you might be using now, you may eventually want to step up to high efficiency speakers.

Welcome to the forum Joan,

Sensitivity of the Tannoys (from what I found) is @91 dB.
The 2 watt SE84 may be at the low end of what you need for power, it will depend on how loud you listen, how large your room is, and how far from the speakers you listen.

From "Recommended Speakers" on the SE84UFO web page
"We have successfully driven hundreds of different loudspeakers ranging in efficiency from 90 to 100 dB. On 90dB speakers, the amp works nicely in smaller rooms or for late-night out-of-body experiences."
