WTB - 220/240 Volt SE84UFO

Hello Everyone,

I owned a Se84c+ about ten years ago ... I live in Europe (France) now and am looking for a used 220/240v SE84UFO ... I check these forums (and ebay) frequently, but I haven't seen any for sale in Europe ... If there is anyone in Europe looking to sell their SE84UFO (preferably with the bypass cap mod), you have a potential buyer ...

All the best,
David

David,

If you find one from the US, jump on it.  I am using my SE84UFO25 and SE34I.2+ with step-down convertors in Istanbul, Turkey and have had no issues so far.

Best,

Alper

Hi Alper,

Thank you for the message ... that's good to know that I can use a step-down converter with no issues if needed.

All the best,
David

I would add that KCC Scientific makes a great product. for voltage conversion. Will take any voltage 80-250v and output 115v or 230v at 50 or 60hz. It coverts incoming power to DC then has an amp produce a clean sine wave on the output. I ran a UFO25th DAC and Zstage with the 100W thor and it was amazing. I've yet to compare it to my PS Audio P3. I think the KCC Scientific does a better job at delivering clean power.

Thanks for the tip GroovySauce ... I'm hoping to avoid having to ship an amp to Europe and then having to buy an extra component to make it work ... I'll have to wait and see if a 220/240v amp comes up for sale ...

All the best,
David
