My little brother is a notorious cheap ass.

So he has a tendency to "borrow" equipment from me, for perpetuity.

As of right now he has my Bigger are Better horns, my old computer with the buzz in it, his Son's Deathbox, and powering the whole deal, one of my $24 Lepai amps.

Holy cow, it kinda works, way too much bass because there is no crossover, but works to his expectations.

Who would think that a real cheap amp would shake your house?

I made the offer of a sub amp with a crossover to him but he said that he was happy with what he had.

I guess that if your expectations are low, anything is good enough.
