Upgrading my amp options
03/02/20 at 00:20:16

Hi folks, I have the SE84UFO and would like to upgrade to the following:
Mod. Beeswax bypass cap mod - $260
Capacitor. Copper Beeswax $130
Stepped attenuator $100
However I would like to know if these parts can be ordered from Steve and installed myself. Are these parts exclusively sold by decware?  If not might anyone know where I can purchase these items from?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Alex… I can’t speak for Steve but I would probably recommend that you have Steve install them.  I’m sure Decware can sell you the upgrades but  the problem becomes the lifetime warranty issue on the amp.  If you install the parts yourself and it causes a problem down the road, you may be jeopardize that warranty.  Just a thought.
