Recommendations on XLR Cables (Read 8213 times)

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on the brand model of a reasonably priced pair of XLR interconnects. Thanks for any input.

I went full bat shit crazy and bought very expensive (but heavily discounted) cables from VooDoo Cables. Their least expensive cables are very good, but the get better each rung of the ladder up and I went all the way. Not regretting it, but a lot of money, but I'll never need to replace them I believe.

Some nice cables can be had by a small builder, Dyson Audio, I bought a set from ebay. And I bought a pair of WireWorld Eclipse that are quite good for the 200 dollar or so price.

Steve has recommended Silver Serpents from Better Cables--I have never tried them.

They have a new one not on the website and it’s their top tier XLR now. I’ve been using it for a couple of months now and it is very nice. Replace a more expensive cable just experimenting. It’s really good.
