This looks GREAT! I just received my SE84UFO and would like to make a wood base as well.
Can you please share a photo of how you handled the back of the amplifier? Is the bottom of the amp resting on part of the wood base or what ever is underneath it?
Great job - love the work!
Regards
Steve

It's awesome when you can DIY components and match them up with the rest of the system....Nice!

I’m already thinking about making a custom wood plinth for my amp when I get it in... July? :'( Probably walnut with exposed dovetails.
Does anyone know the model of the volume pot (assume its a potentiometer?) so I can find an extender for it? I’d rather the volume knob extend through my wood base and of course don’t want to change any wiring on my own.
With a toddler in the house and a cat who likes to hang out on top of the media cabinet I’ll probably work out a tube cage as well. Does anyone have experience with that? I’m thinking of just making a plexiglass box that would sit on or slot into the wood plinth.
