Will the OD3 regulator tube work in the ZP3? I recently tried these in my monoblocks and love what they do. I get tighter less bloated bass and wondering if I can experiment in the ZP3. Has anyone else tried? What was your experience?

I no longer have a ZP3 and can't remember if I tried an OD3 in it or not. I don't think it would hurt to try and I'm pretty daring so I would try it myself. I find the OD3 a very good regulation tube and really enjoy the OD3W variant.

To be safe I guess I'd recommend querying Steve or seeing if someone who has used one in the ZP3 chimes in.

I have an OD3 in my ZP3.  It sounds pretty good. Seems like maybe a touch more bass than an OA3.

...and just like with the monoblocks, this tube sounds great in the ZP3. I get the same traits. Much more clarity in the low end. Deeper, more detail. Also seems to give more air and separation between instruments.

I wonder if these regulators work better for me b/c I have high voltage on the line? Or vice versa?
