Here is a TABOO mkIII wired for 240V. I bought this (so, I am the first user) in Dec 2014 (Serial #169) and used it lightly both with headphones and speakers. It has not seen much use in the last two years or so; that's why it has to go (also, I am trying to finance my in-queue SE84UFO25).
It has the stepped attenuators on both the gains and output (I am not sure if these were standard or extra). I have used this with a step-up transformer since I moved back to the U.S. and I do not see an issue with using it that was; it might actually be filtering out some of the dirt in the AC. The transformer I have used with this (I still use all my European gear like that) was one I bought from Amazon.com (
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00370UXU2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UT...). I would be more than happy to send the unit back to Steve for a rewiring and warranty transfer; yet that has to be at the buyer's expense.
I will be shipping the unit with:
- three brand new rectifiers (a 274B, a Ruby 5U4G, and a NOS RCA 5Y3GT)
- one brand new 6N5P (bought from Decware)
- one used 6N1P (bought from Decware) with approx. 750 hours on it
- a pair of SV83's (bought from Decware) with approx. 750hours on them.
I am looking for $1,400 plus S&H. Below are some pictures. And please feel free to ask any questions...
Best,
Alper
