Source question

Brand new member here.
Living the good life in NW Arkansas, and ready to try the KISS, 1rst watt, low (as possible) $ approach to good sound reproduction.

In the Betsy (just requested a quote from Randy) demo video Steve mentions a $200.00, memory stick source that surprised him at how good it was.
Can someone tell me specifically what piece of kit he was referring to?

Good health and good times to all.

He might have been talking about the Dragonfly DAC. They have a $99 model as well, but this is the one most audiophiles go for.

I think you're right.

A couple of days after I posted this question, I was at Caintuck looking at Betsy's and went through Randy's recommendations.
One of which was the Dragonfly, a memory stick size USB DAC.

Yeah, the higher voltage output Red would be the way to go.
Thanks for the reply.
