This phono stage is in excellent working condition and works with both MM and MC cartridges. It is possible to connect two tonearms to this phono stage, one to the MM input, and one to the MC input. Unit will come with three Baldwin 12ax7 tubes installed.
The step up transformers on the MC side of this phono stage have been upgraded by Decware with Sowter 9990 transformers. The stepup ratio of the new transformers is 1:20, and this is a better ratio for low output moving coil cartridges than the original Sowter 9580 transformers which had a stepup ratio of 1:12.5.
