This dac from PS Audio uses none of the 'off the shelf' dac chips and instead does all of the digital to analog conversion through their highly regarded FPGA chip and programming genius and wizardry of lead designer Ted Smith.

This unit is the Silver model with all accessories included including remote. The Bridge 2 card that comes with this dac transforms this into a world class dac and music streamer that accepts and stream pretty much any file format in existence today including PCM, DSD, and full MQA as well.


Being a FPGA dac, this dac is fully upradeable for the future through their free software update using SD cards. I have already loaded the latest Red Cloud firmware and its simply breathtaking.
