As mentioned on my 46 SET amp ad, for sale here are 8 pairs ( 16 tubes total) of Western Electric (WE) 417a input/driver tubes. If you've been in this hobby for awhile you know the history , prestige, and reputation of these WE tubes but they do come at a substantial price.

These were bought for my 46 SET amp from various Ebay sellers but were NEVER used. Each pair either tested very strong or are NOS and most if not all the pairs are closely matched.

These are the best and only known tube upgrade for the 46 SET amp that I have for sale. According to Oliver ( builder of the amp) these tubes gives the 46 amp another level of refinement that the 5842 tubes simply can not match which is saying a lot because the Raytheon 5842 are no slouch and not cheap either.  

I'm asking $800 with free shipping to anywhere in the US. For a special all in one deal, whoever is looking to buy both the 46 amp and these tubes I'll let them both go for $3600 even with free shipping as well.
