My se84ufo came today. Unboxing it took a few minutes because there was about a mile of bubble wrap but this is not a complaint, the amp was very well packed and about as UPS-proof as I have seen.

The spades on my speaker wire are not ideal and I will change them tomorrow. Right now I have my Ayre cx7eMP run directly into it and it’s been playing for less than 10 minutes. It sounds nice but I won’t listen critically just yet. My Omega super alnico high output monitors sound very sweet and I have volume control set at about 25%. This is my first stereo tube amp, and right now really happy with this purchase!

Question for the forum: I am going to order 2 pair of Decware Silver Reference Interconnects to go between an Oppo Sonica - CSP3 - SE84UFO and am wondering if .5 meter would be long enough.

If it's a standard size equipment rack, .5M interconnects should be fine. It would be best to measure the distance between equipment to be sure. If in doubt, get 1M lengths HK
