I have a Carver Digital Time Lens for $140. It was designed to take out digital artifacts and increase sound stage by means of increasing L/R channel separation. Good for older recordings that are a bit rough when the rush from analog to digital was happening. The worst recording that I have is a Supertramp Breakfast In America CD that benefits from this device.
