Greetings,

I have a ZMA which I have been using for years now with 85db speakers. I am getting some Omega speakers rated around 98/99.

Should I look to add a Zen amp to the collection or will the ZMA give me the same great sound? What would the sonic differences be between them in the first watts?

I am currently running the ZMA direct from my DAC and concerned that the volume pot will not be working at the linear part of the range with my new speakers.  Should I upgrade the volume pot to a stepped controller and use the DACs volume control?

What would this upgrade entail. can I get authorization from Steve to DIY this update?
