Betsy and room size
03/01/17 at 01:24:36

Hi,

New user here and I'm very curious about the room requirements for the Betsy. My humble listening room is in the basement and measures approximately 11W’ x 14L’ to where I sit with 7 foot ceilings. How far from the back wall do they need to be?

Thanks

Hi John,

The Betsy baffles are pretty adaptable when it comes to room size.
I have several customers who have 12' x 12' listening rooms and are quite happy with the sound.

Nearfield listening works OK, but in my opinion the best sound happens when the listening seat is 9 to 12 feet from the speakers.
Two or three feet from the front wall works well for speaker placement with about six to eight feet between the speakers.

I have a page on my website that answers a lot of commonly asked questions about the Betsy baffles. It can be found here.

If you have any additional questions, please let me know.

Best wishes,
Randy
