Help with DLNA server for Mac re: ZenTascam CD-240

Hi gang, I recently received Steve's modified Tascam CD-240 CD/Network Media player and as a CD player, Steve's variable output stage is a game changer - very warm and natural sounding with full body and slam! Nice job, Steve!

But I am having a problem with the network functionality of it being able to play my digital files being served from my Mac using PLEX DLNA server. All my files are either m4a or mp3, but the majority of files won't play. They are seen by the media player, but when I start play, it comes back with "Cannot play". Yet, similar file types do play perfectly fine - there seems to be no rhyme or reason.

Before I call Tascam/Teac customer support, I was just curious as to what DLNA server you guys are using on your Mac?  --thanks!

I use a server called "Serviio" on my mac and have never had a problem with it, but the only two formats I use are wav and flac so I haven't tested it with mp3's or other audio files.  I also use it with pdf files and pictures with good success.
