Need more information.  What is the cart output and what is the gain of the phono stage it's feeding?  I use the ZMC1 with a 0.48 mV going into the 42 db ZP3.  Gives me about 1 volt out of the ZP3 which works great directly into my amp or into my pre.

I've been trying to find out the output, but haven't come across that info just yet. The phono stage gain is 38db.

Found it, output for the Krystal cartridge is .25mV

You'll want the ZMC1 for that.  That gives the most boost and Steve told me I'd need one at twice your output.
