Upgrade to alternate tuning
02/29/16 at 17:42:44

Hello Steve,
thought I'd post this question here in case anyone else was interested.

I still have my HDT's from 2003, and I think it's time to look at the DFR8 w/ the alternate tuning. If I purchase the DFR8, do you still offer the alternate tuning package, or am I going to have to look at either buying a new HDT or building one.

I probably missed it, but I couldn't find the answer on the site.

Thanks,                              Crazy Bill

Hello Zygi,
Thanks for the quick reply.
One more question if I may.

If I decide to buy a brand new HDT w/ custom veneers, can you do the build, priced appropriately of course, using 3/4 inch birch ply instead of
MDF.

Cheers,                   Crazy Bill

Bill,

Yes, I can. I'm assuming you are looking for baltic birch or apple ply, correct?

Thanks Zygi,

Yes, either Baltic Birch or apple ply.

Just so I can get an idea, let's forget about the exotic veneer for now.

Just a quesstimate, about how much more over the basic HDT price would the construction be using either the Baltic birch or the apple ply.

Thanks again,

Crazy Bill

Bill,

What ever the difference would be in the materials. The only issue we have is the corners when using plywood material. I doubt I could make the corners radiuses in plywood and have it even look presentable, let alone good. We would have to work that out.
