945/946 midrange comparison

I am currently using my SE84UFO connected to a pair of Buschhorns MkII's that I built. I am considering a higher sensitivity speaker. I love the midrange from the Fostex FE108ez drivers. Would the 946 have a similar midrange to the 108's ? I would appreciate any feedback. Especially if someone has heard the difference between the 945 & 946 monitors.
