Got my JR about 10 days ago. Been away a lot so only have about 17 hours on the amp. This is very preliminary and I will try to elaborate after a few months break in. First impressions: my other Decware amps are a mini torii and Rachel. The mini is sweet and amazing while the Rachel is less forgiving and more forward. Love them both. I fully expected the JR to fall somewhere in between the two, sonically. To my amazement, it doesn't sound like either of them. It is altogether more dynamic, more 3D, more "real" if you will. Although I am obviously a Decware fan I now understand the "sound" Steve built his business on and why Decware is so successful. My preliminary advice, just buy one.
