Bendix 6106 (5Y3GT) Torii

Hi guys, I am posting this here, as the Torii III thread seems to be dead. Can these rectifiers be used in the Torii III?

The manual lists 5Y3, so they should work. I know they are popular for the CSP, but anyone ever tried them in a Torii??

You can, you certainly can use them. I've tried a pair. Ultimately I prefer the 5U4 and 5V4 types, the 5Y3 makes the Torii seem a bit subdued in my system.
